Where are my meal photos and notes stored?
PlateKeep stores meal photos, notes, tags, reflection answers, and diary entries locally on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to OneSip Technologies, RevenueCat, or PostHog. Your own iOS backup configuration may separately include app data.
Do I need an account?
No. PlateKeep’s core food diary does not require an account. Purchase restoration uses the Apple ID associated with the original App Store transaction.
Does PlateKeep count calories or identify food with AI?
No. PlateKeep is intentionally a private visual diary rather than a calorie tracker, barcode scanner, diet coach, or AI nutrition estimator.
How do I turn off product analytics?
Open PlateKeep, go to Settings, and switch off Product analytics. Analytics never includes meal photos, note text, search text, custom tag names, or exact meal content.
How do I restore PlateKeep Pro?
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed into the Apple ID used for the original purchase. If restoration fails, email support with the exact message shown; do not send payment-card information.
How can I export my diary?
PlateKeep’s Settings includes export actions. PDF creates a readable report, while JSON and CSV provide structured backup data where available. iOS will ask where you want to save or share the resulting file.
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting PlateKeep removes its locally stored diary from the device, subject to how iOS and your own backups operate. Export anything you want to retain before deleting the app.
Can support recover a lost diary?
No. Because your diary is not stored on our servers, support cannot retrieve lost photos or entries. That privacy benefit also means exports and your own device-backup choices are important.
Where can I read the full privacy policy?
The current policy is available at platekeep.app/privacy. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@onesiptech.com.
